Score one for AT&T in the battle of the iPhones.
The wireless network reports it activated one-point-three million more iPhones in the second quarter than Verizon.
And, a quarter of its iPhone customers were new to AT&T. Verizon started selling the i-Phone in February.
Many analysts had predicted that Verizon would get more new subscribers and that AT&T would mostly sell phones to existing customers due for an upgrade.
