Jon can be seen weekday mornings as a co-anchor of Good Morning Charleston and Lowcountry Live.
Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Jon traded the cold and snowy winters for the sunshine of South Beach at the University of Miami, where he earned a B.S. in journalism. While in college, Jon quickly found a niche for television and after graduation took a job in the small town of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, at WKAG-TV.
From there, it was on to the anchor desk at WBNG-TV in Binghamton, New York, where Jon was the first to break the news of the tragic shooting at the American Civic Association to the world, and then to WNYT in Albany, New York.
After three winters in Upstate New York, Jon thought it best to head down south to the warm weather and warm people of the Lowcountry.
Jon has been recognized as "Reporter of the Year" runner up in the Carolinas.
In his free time, Jon enjoys strolling the historic streets of Charleston, finding new restaurants, spending time at the beach, and rooting for his hometown Red Sox.
If you see Jon out in the field, feel free to suggest a story idea or just say hello.
