Just 12 days after being acquired by the Tulsa Shock, Jacinta Monroe is looking for a team again.
The Shock waived the second-year forward Tuesday, creating an empty spot on the roster.
Monroe, who stands 6'5", had played in four games with the Shock and had four rebounds and one assist in 21 total minutes of action. She joined the team June 16th after Miranda Ayim was waived.
Monroe was the sixth overall pick in the 2010 WNBA Draft by the Washington Mystics and was on the roster for the Seattle Storm before being waived on May 30th.
Monroe had played a couple minutes, but did not score while picking up three fouls in Seattle's 76-70 pre-season victory over the Shock a day earlier.
In 17 games with the Mystics as a rookie in 2010, Monroe averaged 2.1 points and nearly one rebound per game in just under seven minutes per contest.
Monroe played college basketball at Florida State, where she averaged 13 points and 7.4 rebounds per game as a senior.
