Shock Lose Big on the Road

Posted: Updated:

After Tulsa notched its first win of the season at home against Washington on June 18th, the Shock returned the favor Sunday afternoon.

The Mystics blitzed Tulsa from the opening tip en route to a twenty point win, 83-63.  The victory is Washington's first at home this season.

Tulsa shot just 35.3 percent from the field, compared to 47.5 percent for the Mystics.

The Shock was lead for the second-straight game by rookie center Liz Cambage, who scored 15 points in her return to the starting lineup.

Sheryl Swoopes pitched in 11 points, but they were the only two Tulsa players to score in double figures.

The Shock return to the BOK Center on Thursday for a match-up with the Minnesota Lynx.  Tip-off is set for 7pm.
