Heat Advisory In Effect For Much of Arkansas

Updated:
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) -

A heat advisory is in effect for much of the Channel 7 viewing area today.  Expect heat index readings around 105 to 110 degrees and this advisory will likely get extended into Sunday and beyond.

There are signs some relief isn't too far away.  A new frontal boundary will bring a chance for scattered showers and storms beginning Tuesday followed by cooler air.  Until then, please be careful when outside and drink plenty of water.
