Tidwell Project, Inc. Holds Spring Fundraiser

Nonprofit organization Tidwell Project, Inc is hoping to further its goals of helping students pursue their educational goals with a  fundraiser on May 22nd. The "Chari-Tea Hat Affair" will feature musical entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and a selection of teas and other beverages in a garden setting.  

Well-known milliner Luke Song will be a special guest at the event.  Song designed the hat Aretha Franklin wore during the 2008 Presidential Inauguration. She will showcase some of his latest creations as well as answer questions from guests.

Proceeds from the Fundraiser will be used to provide scholarships for students.

Tidwell Project, Inc. is under the direction of C. Michael Tidwell as the artistic director.  Mr. Tidwell also teaches dance at Parkview Magnet High School.
