Oilers Lose Game 5, End Season In Shreveport

Posted: Updated:

The Tulsa Oilers sure made it interesting.

Entering the third period, Tulsa trailed Bossier-Shreveport 4-1.  Three goals later, the Oilers trailed 5-4 with just over six minutes to play.

Tulsa could not find the equalizer, as the MudBugs advance to face the Allen Americans in the Berry Conference Finals next week.

The Oilers goals were scored by Bates Battaglia, Evan Kostopoulos, Michael Beausoleil, and Chad Costello.

Goalie Ian Kesserich was pulled after giving up four goals on 19 shots.  Trevor Cann came on in relief, stopping 10 of 11 shots faced.
