According to the Arkansas Business website, a Little Rock Construction Executive who's been missing since 2008 has been declared dead.
A Pulaski County Circuit Court Judge made the declaration on Wednesday.
John Glasgow's wife filed a petition in January to have him declared dead, stating the family had hoped Glasgow was still alive -- but they are faced with the reality that he probably is dead.
His family released this statement to Channel Seven, saying, "It's the saddest day that anyone in John's family has ever had. The family felt like it was something that was needed, appropriate and had to be done, but anytime you go into courtroom and a judge finds that your brother is officially dead - it's worse than going to a funeral."
Glasgow, the chief financial officer of CDI Contractors, was last seen driving away from his home early January 28, 2008.
