ORU's Roundtree Named Mid-Major Freshman of the Year

Oral Roberts freshman Steven Roundtree has been named the Mid-Major Freshman of the Year by CollegeInsider.com.

Roundtree averaged 12.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in starting all 35 games for the Golden Eagles in 2010-11. He scored in double figures in 22 of those games and had a double-double six times.

He earned Summit League Player of the Week honors after averaging 23 points and 12.5 rebounds in ORU's final two regular season games and was named the conference Newcomer of the Year.
