Shock Take Stanford's Pedersen With 7th Pick

Stanford forward Kayla Pedersen is the newest member of the Tulsa Shock.

Pedersen was selected with the seventh overall pick in Monday's WNBA Draft.

She averaged 12.9 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior at Stanford, helping lead the Cardinal to the Final Four and a 33-and-3 overall record.

Pedersen was Tulsa's second pick in this year's draft. The Shock picked Australian 6'8" star Elizabeth Cambage with the second overall pick.
