Chad Woollard's shootout goal gave Texas a 4-3 victory over the Tulsa Oilers Wednesday night in North Richland Hills, Texas.
The Brahmas led 3-1 after a pair of second period goals from Jason Deitsch. But Tulsa forced overtime with goals from John Mori and Chad Costello in the third period.
After a scoreless overtime, the game went to a shootout.
Things looked good early for the Oilers as Jack Combs put one past Brahmas goalie Steve Christie on Tulsa's second opportunity. But, Calin Wild kept Texas alive with a goal on the fourth try, then Woollard won it on the next chance.
Tulsa was 0-for-4 on power play opportunities and had just 22 shots on goal compared to 31 for the Brahmas. The loss is Tulsa's third in four games.
The Oilers will return to the ice Friday night against the Allen Americans in Allen, Texas.
