Suspect Sought in Monticello Shooting

State police are asking for the public's help in locating Nicholas Jamal Nix, 19, last known to reside at 348 North Larkin Street, Monticello, Arkansas.

Nix is charged first degree murder in connection with a March 5th shooting that occurred at 1032 Cooper Street, a Monticello apartment complex.

Katlin Lidge, 25, of 1032 Cooper Street was found by Monticello Police inside apartment F-12.  Lidge had been shot and was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division was asked by the Monticello Police Department to assist in the investigation.
