Last-Minute Holiday Deals

Posted: Updated:

It's down to the nitty gritty of holiday shopping.  There are good deals out there for the taking. With just a few days left to shop, ABCNews and NewsChannel 8  reached out to some of the biggest retailers in the country to ask them what is their very best deal.  Here's what we found out:

  • Wal-Mart said its best deal is a Playstation 3 video game system for $299.  For a while, it was offering a $100 gift card with it.  Now it's throwing in a free video game instead. Still a pretty good deal.
  • If you're in the market for a new TV and the latest in cutting edge technology, Best Buy told NewsChannel 8 their best deal is a 3D package.  It's a 46 inch Sony LED TV and Playstation 3,  $1100  off at $1699.  Both in store and online.
  • For those shopping for children, Toys R Us's answer for its best deal?  The Rescue Pets Swim To Me Puppy.  Half-priced at $12.49.

Toys R Us is now open non-stop leading up to Christmas for last minute shoppers.
