Wouldn't you love to have a crystal ball to see how much things will cost next year? DealNews.com is out with a list of 20 things that will be more expensive in 2011. Here are a few of them:
- Let's start with breakfast. Grain prices have been skyrocketing, and that's going to have an effect on your morning cereal, milk, eggs and bacon.
- Flying will cost more next year. Airlines have made so much money with all those added fees, that they'll dream up others things to charge you extra.
- You'll pay more for your chocolate craving and coffee fix. Cocoa is at a 30 year high and demand is only growing. Same for coffee.
- The Postal Service's request to raise the price of a first-class stamp by 2 cents, to 46 cents, was shot down this year, but DealNews says don't bet on that ruling sticking around for very long.
- And movie ticket prices go up every year, but 2011 could be a time of major increases for two key reasons: online streaming and 3D.
