Peppermint Pie with Rice Krispies Crust

Peppermint Pie with Rice Krispies Crust

4 ounces German's sweet chocolate
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine
3 cups of Rice Krispies
1/2 gallon of softened vanilla ice cream
3/4 cup of crushed peppermint candy

Break the chocolate into pieces in and put in a heavy saucepan.
Add margarine.
Heat until melted, stirring constantly
Add cereal and mix well.
Form crust with the mixture into a 10-inch pie plate.
Chill in the refrigerator.
Mix the ice cream and peppermint candy in a bowl.
Spoon onto the Rice Krispie crust.
Freeze for 3-4 hours or until firm.
