• Following several down years, the price of cotton hit an all-time high this year. Mississippi State University Professor Emeritus, Dr. O. A. Cleveland will take a look at "The Cotton Market: Where to From Here" (Wednesday)
• The "super weed," pigweed has come back with a vengeance. University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Weed Scientist Dr. Ken Smith will talk about "Meeting Resistant Pigweed Head-on." (Wednesday)
• A panel of experts will discuss issues surrounding mineral rights, including the Fayetteville Shale play. (Wednesday)
• Expanding high-speed Internet availability and Internet education opportunities in rural areas. (Thursday)
• Funding opportunities to improve energy efficiency in poultry houses, on-farm and through forest management. (Thursday)
• Status of pesticide application permits and new rules governing confined animal feeding operations. (Thursday)
