Posted: Updated:

The Baxter County Library is pleased to host the art exhibit, "The River White: An Artist's View", December 1–31 at the Donald W. Reynolds Library in Mountain Home, AR.  The exhibit features 40 paintings in plein air, alla prima watercolor by artist Duane Hada, ASUMH Art Instructor and owner of Rivertown Gallery in Mountain Home, AR.

The collection depicts the White River from the headwaters in the Boston Mountains to its confluence with the Mississippi.  All 40 paintings were created on-site, using river water, and capture fleeting moments and light conditions of the river.  After leaving Mountain Home, the exhibit will travel to various locations in river towns along the banks of the White River.
