KATV Launches Free iPhone App

KATV is pleased to announce the release of its new iPhone app.

The new app became available Wednesday morning and can be found in the app store under "KATV Channel 7, Little Rock, AR."

The new app contains the latest news, sports and weather updates, along with Hog Central updates and the latest videos from Channel 7 News.

KATV hopes to release a second app soon to accommodate other smart phone platforms.

The new app is produced by New York-based WorldNow, in conjunction with Mobdub, LLC, and follows the station's new website which was launched in July.

    A prayer vigil was held Sunday for the missing Greenwood father and son. 33-year-old Brian Floyd and 10-month-old have been missing since Friday, July 25.
