Broadcast Journalist

Position:

KATV, Little Rock, AR is looking for an experienced Broadcast Journalist.  Successful candidates will have experience in on air presentation, shooting, writing, and editing.  We are looking for a story teller to join our top-rated, legacy, news gathering operation.  We serve several platforms and expect our staff to be versatile on all of them.    

 Education:  Formal education equivalent of a B.S. degree in Journalism or related field. Related experience will be evaluated by department management and may be substituted on the basis of one year of experience equals one year of education.

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:  Knowledge of journalistic standards as they relate to on-air presentation of  news stories.  Accurate and comprehensive writing skills.  Ability to react appropriately on camera.  Typing skills (speed not critical). Ability to maintain nice personal appearance.
