
The Tulsa Shock SHOCKED the WNBA's best team, the Seattle Storm at the BOK Center Tuesday night winning 84-75. The biggest win in the history of Tulsa's first year franchise and the biggest upset of the entire WNBA season.
Seattle came to town with the league's best record, 22-3. They had won 13 of its last 14 games. Tulsa, meanwhile, was struggling with a 4-22 record - worst in the WNBA. They had not won a home game since June 4th and has lost 19 of its last 20 games!
But Tuesday was Tulsa's night. They out shot the league's best team 46.3% to 44.8% and missed only three of its 28 free throw attempts. The Shock was led by guard Scholanda Robinson with a game high 21 points.
Tulsa now heads west for games In Los Angeles (Aug. 6) and Seattle (Aug. 7) along with a stop in San Antonio before returning to the BOK Center on August 14th to host Los Angeles.
