The Tulsa Shock has announced a special offer on season tickets for the 2011 season.
The offer includes 17 games for just 99 dollars -- that's less than six dollars a game. That compares to the WNBA average lowest ticket prices of $171 dollars.
"Our market research, in depth conversations with single-game buyers, various market segments, our strong season-ticket base and a full season in Tulsa has convinced our organization that this is the optimal ticket offer for all fans," Tulsa Shock President Steve Swetoha said. "This season-ticket offer provides the best entertainment value in the summer time for residents of Tulsa and the surrounding regions."
Swetoha says the team is off to a great start to reach its season-ticket renewal goals for the 2011 season and feels with the new offer, those numbers will continue to climb.
"Our goal is to provide the greatest value of entertainment and fun in the summer months across the region," he said.
For tickets, fans can call (918) 599-WNBA or e-mail the Shock at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Shock return home Tuesday night to host the Seattle Storm, which boasts the WNBA's best record at 22-and-3. Tulsa comes into the game at 4-and-22 and riding a seven game losing skid.
