The Tulsa Shock continue to wheel and deal.
The team announced Friday that it has sent veteran center Kara Braxton to the Phoenix Mercury in return for Nicole Ohlde and a 2011 first-round draft pick.
Braxton was averaging 9.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for the shock and had started 16 of the team's 22 games this season. In 20 games of action this season, Ohlde was averaging 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds per game off the bench.
The Kansas State alum is in her sixth season in the WNBA and has career averages of 8.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
The move leaves Tulsa with only one player remaining from last year's roster when the team was in Detroit -- guard Alexis Hornbuckle.
The Shock are 4-and-18 and play at Seattle Sunday.
