
Penny Taylor scored 29 points and Candice Dupree added 26 to help led the Phoenix Mercury to a 97-88 victory over the visiting Tulsa Shock Saturday night.
Tulsa (4-16) trailed by just two at halftime and by one midway through the third quarter before the Mercury used a 10-1 run to push the lead to double digits.
Tulsa had five players in double figures led by Scholanda Robinson's 15 points. Kara Braxton added 12 and Jennifer Lacy, Ivory Latta and Amber Holt each scored 11.
Tulsa will play at Los Angeles Tuesday night before returning to the BOK Center for Thursday night's game against the Mercury.
