

Christina Munoz anchors Channel 7 News at 6pm and Nightside at 10:00 p.m. She joined KATV in April of 2003.
Before moving to Little Rock, Christina was a reporter and fill-in anchor at KDLH Channel 3 News in Duluth, Minnesota. Prior to that, she worked behind the scenes at WCCO, the CBS affiliate in Minneapolis.
Christina has been actively involved in various community organizations throughout Arkansas since moving here. She's a member of the Arkansas Climbers Coalition and is an honorary board member of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). She also served two years as President of Ballet Arkansas and continues to be an advisory board member. Christina was also on stage in Ballet Arkansas' annual production of "The Nutcracker" for four years.
Christina received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the University of Minnesota - School of Journalism, with a minor in Spanish. Throughout her reporting and anchoring career, she has received various awards including an Emmy for a newscast she co-anchored.
Christina also co-authored a book called Making Memories: A Celebration of the Life of Anne Pressly with news director Randy Dixon in November of 2009. All proceeds benefit the Anne Pressly Scholarship foundation.
A native of South Dakota, Christina spent four years working as an on-air radio announcer for 1450 KYNT, in her hometown of Yankton. Christina and her husband Dave were married in the summer of 2001 with two wedding ceremonies, one in South Dakota and one in Chile, South America, for her mother's family. They are the proud parents of Sydney Raquel who was born October 18, 2008 and Reagan Anne who was born September 21, 2011. (Click here for more information and pictures of Christina's kids.) When not spending time with her girls and Dave, Christina enjoys dancing, attending bible study, playing guitar, rock climbing, spending time with their dog, Lucy, and cheering on the Twins, the Vikings and, of course, the Razorbacks!
