Oversees local sales staff and departmental functions; hiring, training and evaluations. Plans and executes sales strategies and incentives. Submits revenue budgets for Local Sales and maintains monthly and quarterly pacing. Maintains visibility in the community.
Formal education equivalent of a B.S. degree in Sales/Marketing or related field. Related experience will be reviewed by department management and may be substituted on the basis of one year of experience equals one year of education. Experience: Three to five years of progressive experience in television broadcast sales. Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities: Knowledge of broadcast sales policies and ethics. Knowledge of Internet sales. knowledge of window based programs, Excel, Word, Power Point and general computer understanding required. Knowledge of OSI traffic system, Matrix and One Domain preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to motivate, lead with enthusiasm, plan and direct the work of others. Ability to work within policy.
