This sweet version of chips and salsa is great for dessert or a healthy snack. Almost any combination of fruit can be used. Combine crunchy and soft, some that fall apart and some that hold their shape. Get what's in season and let your imagination roam.

Makes 10 servings

Ingredients:

Fruit salsa

2 apples, peeled, cored and diced
2 kiwis, peeled and diced
1 cup raspberries
2 peaches, peeled and diced
1 pint strawberries, hulled and coarsely mashed
2 T white sugar
2 T fruit preserves, any flavor
Juice of 1/2 lemon

Chips

10 (8-inch) whole-wheat tortillas
Butter-flavored cooking spray
1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (white sugar mixed with cinnamon to taste)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all but the last three ingredients in a bowl, cover and chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Coat one side of tortilla with butter-flavored cooking spray. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and spray again with cooking spray. Cut into wedges and arrange in a single layer on large baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Serve with chilled fruit salsa.
