Recipe shared by Carrie of Texas.

2 lbs pears peeled, cut in halff, coared and washed
2 C.sugar
1 and 1/2C.cranberries
1 C.butter-unsalted
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 loaf of white bread
one large muffin pan

In deep sautee pan, place pears, sugar and cranberries. Cook on low heat for 15-20 min (until cranberries are soft but not burned and there is a light brown color on pears). In a sauce pan, mix butter, sugar and cinnamon untill butter is melted.

Stack three slices of bread, cut off crust, and stand them up around the edge of muffin cup. Do remaining cups the same way. Brush butter and cinnamon mix lighty over bread. Add pear mix to each cup - you can heap it on.

Place in oven at 350 degrees untill golden brown. When cold FLIP out off muffin tin and place on plates -- enjoy.

Makes 12 large or 24 small muffins.
