Former Police Officer Pleads Guilty to Charges

Forty-one-year-old Darrell Webb was sentenced in Ashley County Circuit Court Monday after pleading guilty to second-degree forgery, theft of property, conspiracy to deliver cocaine and laundering criminal proceeds.
Investigators say Webb approached a known local drug dealer and asked him to give him cash and to sell cocaine for him in exchange for not pursuing a criminal investigation. The drug dealer then went to police.

It really stinks to see stuff like this. A police officer is the one person we are supposed to trust beyond that of normal people, and yet we get bad apples like this that cast a shadow over the rest of our protectors. Like Arvinator I also think that justice has been served.
