Little Rock - A Little Rock district judge has issued a gag order in the case against Curtis Vance, who faces a capital murder charge in the death of KATV’s Anne Pressly.

Judge Lee Munson issued the order Wednesday morning, following a request by Vance’s defense attorney. The 28-year-old Vance is the only suspect facing charges in Pressly’s death.
Pressly was found severely beaten in her Little Rock home on October 20th. She died five days later without regaining consciousness. Vance was arrested by Little Rock police on November 26th.
In the one-page amended order, all defense counsel and their staff, the prosecuting attorney and his staff, all Arkansas law enforcement agencies, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the state medical examiner and the Arkansas State Crime Lab are all barred from commenting on the case.

The order also protects the investigative file, “to protect the defendant's right to a fair trial in accordance with due process of law.”
Prosecutors say additional charges could still be filed against Vance. The gag order is in effect until the case reaches circuit court.
