Little Rock - Every year, shoppers wait for hours to get their hands on big Black Friday bargains. The National Retail Federation estimates 134 million Americans will hit the stores the day after Thanksgiving, and spend between $300 and $400. One out of ten shoppers will start lining up outside their choice of stores as early as midnight, though some decide to open their wallets on Turkey Day itself.
That is the mentality which led Old Navy, WalMart and Big Lots to decide to keep their doors this Thanksgiving holiday, though some say it's a step too far.

"Because there's sentimental value. I just want to be with the loved ones [Thursday], and I'll just shop on Friday."

"It's fun. Last year, I had my face up against the window trying to get in. Other than that, I enjoy seeing all the guests."A number of local small businesses will dish out the discounts, too.

"We try to treat all our customers like friends, really take that extra time to help them and find that extra-special gift."Whether you are looking for electronics, clothing or toys, make sure you check out each individual store's website to see what their bargains look like. If you miss shopping this weekend, remember there is always Cyber Monday.
