Pulaski County, AR - It's a good thing that 94 year old Emery Cato had decided to walk to the front of his mobile home this morning, just before an explosion and fire destroyed the structure on Mobile Road. A leaky water heater in the rear of the mobile home appears to be the cause of the explosion. Emely's wife Floria, who's in her mid 80's says she was lying on the couch when the explosion blew out a large window of the home. The couple say they escaped the burning home, and heard neighbors yelling "don't go back in their Nana and Papa". Floria Cato says she lost 70 years of photographs in the fire, but she's glad she's still alive to make more memories with her family and friends. The Cato's live in the south-central part of Pulaski County. The Arch Street and Quail Creek fire departments responded to the explosion.
