Little Rock, AR - - Pine Bluff and Little Rock will be the sites of two appearances by U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor and FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski.
The topic at both events Tuesday will be expanding broadband access that provides high-speed Internet service. The FCC chief and the state's junior senator will appear first Tuesday morning at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. In a room of Henderson-Young Hall on the UAPB campus, Pryor will moderate a discussion among the FCC chairman and respresentatives from the health, education and telecommunications sectors. At noon in Little Rock, the two plan to speak in Sturgis Hall of the Clinton School of Public Service just east of downtown.
