Tulas, OK - Attorneys in the state of Oklahoma's pollution case against the Arkansas poultry industry have been scolded by a federal judge who says they've bombarded him with tons of paperwork.

The admonishment Thursday from U.S. District Judge Gregory K. Frizzell demonstrated the judge's fraying patience as the trial dragged into its 25th day spread over the past two months.

After rebuking the attorneys, Frizzell candidly admitted he didn't know how he was going to rule on the case that accuses 11 poultry companies of polluting a sensitive watershed with tons of bird manure.

The companies say the waste belongs to their contract growers, and accuse Oklahoma of tailoring science to fit its 2005 lawsuit.
