Little Rock - Police say the discovery of a man's body under an interstate highway bridge in west Little Rock has prompted a homicide investigation.
Police say they got a call shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday about the body, found under the Interstate 430 bridge where it approaches the Arkansas River. The bridge connects Little Rock and North Little Rock, and provides a route between Interstate 30 in southwest Little Rock and Interstate 40 in North Little Rock.
The body is that of a man, investigators said, but they don't yet know his race. He appears to have been killed by blunt-force trauma.
Police say the victim was probably killed somewhere else, then dumped under the bridge.
