Little Rock - Flooding from last week's torrential rains continues in parts of Arkansas, with many rural roads covered by water in northeast Arkansas and the Union County town of Felsenthal being evacuated.
Felsenthal, population 191, is at the south end of Lake Jack Lee in the Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge. The lake is fed by both the Ouachita and Saline Rivers, whose watersheds were saturated by the storms Thursday and Friday.
Lake Jack Lee's level has been steadily rising since the storms, and may not be falling soon.
Upstream on the Ouachita River, Entergy Arkansas authorities said they still planned to carry out scheduled winter drawdowns on two Hot Springs-area lakes that will add to the water in the Ouachita, though Entergy officials said they would slow the rate of water release because the river is already full.
