Stabbing Suspect Killed by Police

Haskell - Authorities say a stabbing suspect at an assisted living center in Haskell was fatally wounded after he attacked a Saline County officer.
Officers responded to a call Sunday evening to Birchtree Community on U.S 67.
According to authorities, when the officers tried to approach the suspect, Jerry Baer, he attacked Sgt. Cecil Dobbs with a knife, striking the Saline County officer above the right eye.
Police officer Kyle Vaugh then shot Baer, killing him.

The man must have been crazy to attack a police officer. Hope the officer is ok.
