Why waste the talents of these people? Take the skinners and put them in a room with people like Baby Grace's killers (the "mom" & the gentleman boyfriend who only wanted to teach the child manners). Let them fight to the death. Charge admission and make it pay-per-view. We would be spared court costs and might make money to prevent other children and animals from abuse.

People like this occur in every state but unfortunately they make headlines in Arkansas and make it hard for all of us living outside of the state to try to fight the redneck dumb a** reputation.

I think that it is sick that the teacher could just kill an animal to show the class how to skin an animal. What is the relevance on showing students how to do that in school? I think that the teacher and the person or persons that did that to the animals should get punished for cruelty to animals.

What does this have to do with raccoons and dogs?

The United States Constitution (specifically the Bill of Rights) guarantees us the right to a speedy trial so it's not an option not to dismiss the charges against someone when they are not afforded that right.

Catsclaw I agree I have had to skin many different animals in physiology, zoology and gross anatomy classes but killing a dog and skinning it for revenge is sick. It also displays a disturbed mind.

I care about the dog. I care about the coon. The people who killed them need to be charged with animal cruelty, and the teacher should be fired.

The story about the raccoon got blown out of proportion. This teacher is not into animal cruelty like the media let on. Agriculture students study animal science, and wildlife managemnet and sometimes dissect animals, much like a biology teacher would a frog or an earthworm. He did not kill the coon in front of the students and does not deserve the negative publicity. The skinned dog is another story.
