Police are investigating a home invasion robbery that led to the death of a North Little Rock man. The incident occurred Tuesday evening at 1903 West Long 17th Street. A police spokesman says officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress just before 7:30 p.m. When they arrived, officers discovered two men inside the house, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Thirty-year-old Shawn Bisbee of North Little Rock, and his stepfather, 53-year-old David Rogers, were both transported to local hospitals. Bisbee died a short time later. Rogers remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Police say two black male suspects were seen running from the area around the time of the incident. Investigators have little to go on, and are relying on residents in the area to come forward.
(Sgt. Terry Kuykendall, North Little Rock Police) "There's usually people out walking around at that time of night, sitting on the front porch. So we feel confident people were out, saw what was going on or at least heard something and then saw something--and that's why its so important for those people to step forward"
This is North Little Rock’s 11th homicide of 2007.
