Little Rock - Gov. Mike Beebe has declared three more counties disaster areas because of this month's heavy rain and flooding.

On Thursday, Beebe added Fulton, Little River and Woodruff counties to the disaster list, bringing the total to 23.

Beebe says the U.S. Department of Agriculture (web | news) is now considering Arkansas' latest request for a disaster declaration for several Arkansas counties. If approved, farmers in the affected areas could qualify for emergency low-interest loans to cover crop losses.

LDP  check are probably being printed right now. Farmers are the biggest welfare recipients in the countryand ninety percent of them couldn't hold down a regular job if they had to.
