Ashdown - The murder trial of an Ashdown man is being delayed by a month.
Thirty-five-year-old Derick Dariel Robertson is charged with first-degree murder in the Aug. 1 2008 shooting death of 42-year-old Patricia Norwood in Ashdown.
His trial was to begin Oct. 8 in Little River County Circuit Court but is being delayed until Nov. 11. No reason for the delay was immediately given.
Robertson was arrested the day after the killing at the Greyhound bus station in North Little Rock after boarding a bus headed for California.
