Little Rock - The investigation continues into a Little Rock home intrusion that left KATV morning anchor Anne Pressly seriously injured Monday.

Little Rock police say investigators are continuing to process evidence from the crime scene, but said as of late Tuesday afternoon, they had no information on possible suspects in the case or a suspect description.

Pressly, 26, was found in her home around 4:30 a.m. Monday with what police called “severe wounds” caused by blunt force trauma to her head and upper body. Pressly was found by her mother, who became concerned after wake-up calls to her daughter went unanswered.

Authorities believe the attack may have come during a robbery, because Pressly's purse was missing. Little Rock police spokesman Cassandra Davis said Tuesday afternoon that authorities are still unsure if the high-profile TV personality was specifically targeted.

“Right now—with what we have--we can only treat it as a random attack” Davis said.

Pressly remains in critical but stable condition at a Little Rock hospital.

Tuesday morning, Pressly’s family issued a statement thanking people for their prayers and support.

“Anne has a long struggle of recovery ahead of her” the statement reads. “She is a fighter, a strong, healthy and physically fit young woman. We expect her to recover completely. We ask that you continue to pray for Anne and for us.”

As friends, co-workers and fans of Pressly continued to try and come to grips with Monday’s brutal attack, many headed to area Red Cross centers to donate blood.

“So many people have turned out—and we know we have a lot of folks are coming today,” said Red Cross spokesman Alan Gibson. “It’s very moving when someone you know has such an impact on people, and they turn out to express their heartfelt concern for someone by donating blood.”

“We very much appreciate the blood donations that you've given in Anne's name,” the Pressly family’s statement reads. “Rest assured that the sacrifice of your own blood will be used either to help Anne or to help someone else who needs it.”

Also Tuesday, KATV and Little Rock Police Department Crimestoppers set up a reward fund for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person(s) involved in Monday’s attack.

Individuals may contribute to the reward fund at Arvest bank by visiting one of their 27 locations.

Individuals should request to donate to the Anne Pressly Reward Fund.
