Dozen's of protestors line the corner of Chenal and Bowman in protest of the war in Iraq. The anti-war demonstration was a part of a national effort initiated by a group called United for Peace and justice.

That's a coalition of about 14,000 anti-war groups nation wide. The Arkansas Coalition of Peace and Justice helped organize the local protest.
One of the protestors stressed the importance of Americans educating themselves about the war.
(Gladys Tiffany, protestor) "This has been a disaster from the beginning in efforts to make a point...we really want Arkansas to feel they are informed about these issues because there are so many things we're not being told in our nation."
(Sophia Fowler, soldier's wife) "We need to find a way to get out and bring everyone back safely."
