A woman accused of beating her elderly husband claims he violated a mutual restraining order by selling some of their property, including a luxury car.
Forty-six-year-old Cynthia Marie Beyers has been charged with kidnapping, domestic battery and criminal attempt theft of property involving her husband, 92-year-old George Beyers.

Police say George Beyers told them he made a deal with his wife when they married in December, that if she took care of him until he died, he would leave her $2 million.
Instead, she abducted him from their home near White Hall in early August and beat him up because she wanted to know where the money was, according to a sheriff's deputy report.
George Beyers was found that day at his home with a large gash on his head, cuts on his arms and hands and severe bruising around his eyes and nose. The next day he filed for divorce.
In the divorce case, Cynthia Beyers claims that when she went to pick up her belongings August 10, the home had been ransacked and much of her own property was missing.
She claims her husband violated a mutual restraining order by selling some of their property, including an Cadillac Escalade.
