Though many have already left, hundreds of motor homes still linger in Riverfront park Sunday, the last day of the family motor coach association 6-State rally.
Local business said having thousands of extra people in downtown North Little Rock has rallied their bottom line. The Wyndham hotel and restaurant saw business spike this week.
(Don Centofante, Wyndham Hotel Manager) "By about 25 percent and then we also had about 1500 for breakfast this morning."
Down the street at Creegan's Pub, managers say they've seen an impact every day, and it's needed, with the lagging economy and coming off the always slow summer season.
(Chuck Fleming, Creegan's Pub Manager) "That and the economy and everything thrown together, it's just a perfect storm of problems for the restaurant business right now."
Creegan's can't put a dollar amount of the increase this past week, but estimates business went up ten percent.
(Fleming) "I could just see the number of people on a daily business that filled up the restaurant, and they had tags on, so we knew exactly who they were. It was a big increase. It helped a lot."
A North Little Rock chamber leader thought the rally would pump about 4 million dollars into the local economy.
