Traveling Preacher Arrested For Stalking

Police Chief Winred Saffell says Joe Ellis was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday after police in Alexander notified him of a felony warrant for his arrest. Saffell says Ellis is accused of inappropriate online contact with a person he believed to be a minor.
Saffell says the person was an undercover Alexander police detective.
Ellis is being held in the Saline County jail, and scheduled to be in court Wednesday for a bond hearing.
