Trade with Arkansas will be the topic next week when U.S. Rep. John Boozman visits Brazil and Peru along with officials of the Arkansas World Trade Center headquartered in northwest Arkansas.

Boozman, R-Ark., said Wednesday he would lead a delegation to the two South American countries starting Sunday and returning August 18th.

Boozman made a similar trip in February, to Mumbai, India, also accompanied by a delegation from the Arkansas World Trade Center based at Rogers.

This month's trip, Boozman said in a news release, is intended to explore opportunities in Brazil and Peru for expansion of agriculture, commercial business, economic development and investment within the state of Arkansas.
