Little Rock - The National Archives says it will release records related to Supreme Court nominee Judge Sonia Sotomayor later this week from the presidential libraries of Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush.
The Clinton Library in Little Rock will release more than 5,000 pages of presidential records related to Sotomayor's nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Clinton nominated Sotomayor to the position in 1997, and she was confirmed by the Senate a year later.
The Bush Library is releasing four pages of presidential records, in addition to 58 pages that were previously released.
The records will be available on the
National Archives web site.
