Little Rock - A Little Rock man is charged with murder after a drug deal gone wrong.
Police were called to apartment G10 in the Bowman Heights Apartments at 420 Markham Mesa Place in West Little Rock at 9:45 last night. Authorities tell Channel 7 News that 22 year old Preston Williams, who lives at scene, claims 28 year old Frederick Tucker of Houston, Texas, tried to rob him during their deal, and he was forced to shoot him. Officials say this is inconsistent with evidence at the scene.
Police say the pair did know each other prior to this incident.
Williams has been arrested for first degree murder.
Tucker's body has been taken to the state crime lab for autopsy.
