Little Rock, AR - Three teenagers accused of murder appeared in court Wednesday morning.  The teens are accused of breaking into a Southwest Little Rock home, shooting the homeowner and escaping in a stolen car Tuesday afternoon.
That homicide is just the latest in a string of crimes allegedly committed by local teens.   Employees at one local fireworks stand talked about the recent robbery at their business involving teens.

It's business as usual at the Fireworks World in West Little Rock.  But just a few days ago the store was robbed at gunpoint by 6 or 7 teenagers.

(Terry Watson, Fireworks World) "I just think that was a couple bad apples in the crate there."

Despite the robbery manager Terry Watson defends local teens.  He works as a teacher for at risk teens during the school year, and claims most kids want to do the right thing.

(Watson) "The more respect you show them the more respect they're gonna show you."

Watson recently got some good news.  One of the alleged gunman was arrested.  The Pulaski County Sheriff's office says Courtland Ray admits to robbing the Fireworks World and another local fireworks stand.

(Watson) "I can't even explain how happy we are.  For them have even have gotten caught in the next month I would have thought that was impossible."

The fireworks robbery is just one of several high profile crimes involving teens.  Just Tuesday four Little Rock adolescents allegedly killed a senior citizen at his home.  Three suspects have been arrested in that case, and last month two teens allegedly shot an ice cream truck driver.  Police arrested two suspects.  Still Watson says the large majority of teens are fine by him.

(Watson) "Teens in general are good kids, there's a low percentage of kids get out and get into mischief."

Watson says he is not worried about the stand's safety although he has added security.
