Southwest Little Rock -  A man is killed after robbers barge into his Southwest Little Rock home. Police say 67-year old Maurice Clark was shot multiple times in the upper body, and died a short while later. Police say Clark was upstairs when four robbers broke in.

(Lt Terry Hastings, Little Rock Police)
“As they entered the house, the homeowner was upstairs as he came down stairs they shot and killed him.”

Then, they stole Clark's car and took off. Neighbors heard the commotion and followed the suspects. They alerted a near by police officer who chased them down. The robbers ditched the car, took off on foot, and now three of them are in police custody. Neighbors are outraged.

(Neighbor) "They need to be punished, because that man didn't bother no body."

Clark lived in the home with his son Jay Clark, but he wasn’t home at the time. Those who knew Clark say say he was one of the nicest in the neighborhood.

(Neighbor) "He was a nice guy, one of the best people around here and for this to take place today, that's wrong."

Police say the three suspects behind bars are all underage, but will appear in court Wednesday morning on the murder charges. Police arrested and released one person who was not involved in the case, and are now looking for a fourth suspect in the shooting, who is said to be an adult.
